As a pediatrician, I treat my patients as though they are my own children - with calm, compassionate care. I take time to listen carefully to parents' concerns and include them in their child's care; this builds the trust that leads to long-lasting relationships with my patients and their families. My interests include nutrition and overall child health. \n International child wellness also intrigues me. During my residency at Children's Hospital of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, I completed primary care and global health educational tracks. I participated in medical mission trips to Guatemala and Belize, providing care to underserved children in these countries. After my residency, I worked as a general pediatrician in Charlotte before joining Novant Health. \n Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two active children and dog. We like to hike, dine out and take trips to the beach or mountains.
