Dr Simodynes is Board Certified and earned his undergrad degree from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, IN. He completed his medical degree with High Distinction from the University of Nebraska College Of Medicine. During his medical studies he received several academic awards and scholarships. In addition to his training in Omaha, he participated in a summer volunteer initiative in Guatemala caring for patients afflicted with neuromuscular disorders. Dr Simodynes completed his residency at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, served as a member of its Trust Advisory Board. He is an avid college football fan and also enjoys gardening, cooking, walks with the dog, reading, and traveling.
