I am a licensed clinical psychologist and researcher, who has over 12 years of experience treating and conducting research on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), anxiety disorders, hair-pulling disorder, and Tourette Disorder.As a clinician, I am focused on the assessment and treatment of OCD, anxiety, hair-pulling disorder, and Tourette Disorder. I use evidence-based assessments to identify the presence of clinically significant psychiatric symptoms and problem behaviors. After identifying and understanding these symptoms, I employ evidence-based treatments such as cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) with exposure/response prevention (ERP), habit reversal training (HRT), and comprehensive behavioral intervention for tics (CBIT) to help patients and families overcome these challenges.In order to improve patient care, our program regularly conducts research studies on the assessment and treatment of individuals with OCD, anxiety, hair pulling, and Tourette Disorder.
