Dr. Jonathan Turriago is an Assistant Attending of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Columbia University Medical Center in the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University. He received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and has been practicing to improve women’s health for the past thirteen years. Dr. Turriago was honored with the Robert S. Schwartz, MD Research Award in 2016 and the Discovery Award by Health4Peace in 2023 for his contributions to medicine.
Dr. Turriago is adept in both non-invasive in-office procedures as well as more complex cases that are handled in our state-of-the-art surgical suite. His maneuverability in both spheres is what gives women more choices.
Dr. Turriago has dedicated his career to understanding the complexities of women’s healthcare, not just in its physical capacity but also the impactful nuances of mental health in today’s demanding society. That is why he and the team at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology have partnered with Women’s Mental Health services to provide purposeful care to empower women’s health, together.
