Coming to work at Mercy was like coming home - my mentor in college was a Mercy physician - and I'm from the Ozarks. I chose family medicine because of the variety. I see all ages, all states of health. The best part of my job is allaying fears. You do that by building relationships, and you build relationships by listening.
