Dr. Goldsmith grew up in Augusta, Georgia and completed his undergraduate study at the University of Georgia where he graduated with Honors in 2003. His Bachelors of Science degree was composed of biology, exercise science, and pharmacology. He earned his medical degree from Mercer University School of Medicine in 2008 and received the Leonard Tow Humanism in Medicine Award. He went on to residency in the Internal Medicine-Pediatrics program with Greenville Health System, where he served as chief resident. Drew and his wife, Michelle, have three boys and two girls. He is especially interested in newborn care, preventive medicine, adolescent care, and medical missions. He has served communities in Ghana, Haiti, Mexico, and Trinidad. Dr. Goldsmith enjoys being involved with his church and spending time with his family.
