Dr VanHuysen always wanted to follow in his grandfather’s footsteps. As a physician his grandfather was admired, and had a “connection”, with his patients. As an athlete himself, sports have always had a big influence in Dr VanHuysen’s life. Becoming a sports medicine physician has allowed him to blend the two pursuits he loves. Dr VanHuysen enjoys meeting patients and helping them work through any sport injury issue they may have. I enjoy helping my patients work through whatever problem they have and get back to the activities they love.
