Dr. Jigar Patel is a distinguished interventional cardiologist at the Cardiovascular Institute of Central Florida. He earned his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and his Doctor of Medicine from St. Matthew's University School of Medicine, then completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center, followed by an Interventional Cardiology fellowship at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Patel is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in Interventional Cardiology, with additional certifications in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. He has received academic honors including a research grant from the University of Oklahoma's Department of Medicine.
