I chose pediatrics because children are our future, and I want to make sure our community in southeast Kansas has a good future. It's gratifying to see my patients grow up and go off to college, but I also love seeing newborns in the hospital and clinic. I have three children of my own, so I'm used to working with children both at home and at work.
