I am co-founder/owner of Essentia Health and Wellness Center. I am a dual-board certified nurse practitioner (NP) in Psychiatry/Mental Health and Adult Health. I have practiced since 2013, obtained my doctorate degree in 2017, and received my psychiatric/mental health post-graduate certification in 2020. My NP background thus far has been in the fields of neurology, mental health, chronic pain and hospital medicine.
I have an added qualification in headache management and have published research in the areas of chronic pain and mental health in the "International Journal of Orthopaedic and Trauma Nursing" and the "Journal of Psychosocial Nursing and Mental Health Services".
