I would like my patients to know that I will listen to them and I'm also not just a surgeon, I'm an educator. I really believe in allowing the patients to make the decision because the same x-ray on two different patients does not necessarily mean the same treatment. You can give patients an option. There's a whole spectrum with orthopedics. There's very conservative to more aggressive options and you really have to figure out what treatment option is best for that patient.
