Dr Konal chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology because she was inspired by the unique bonds that would be established with her patients. She enjoys the wide variety of the OB/GYN field and is motivated by the new challenges each day presents. She has special interests in adolescent gynecology, gynecological procedures and patient education/support throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Dr Konal credits her mother as her biggest influence. Her mother taught her and her sister to persevere through trial, 'find the joy,' and that there is something to learn from everyone we meet. In her free time, Dr Konal enjoys cooking, hiking, soccer, volleyball, crossword puzzles, traveling and spending time with her family.
