I chose the field of obstetrics and gynecology because I am passionate about women’s healthcare and I feel that I am an advocate for my patients. It is so rewarding to me to help patients work towards a positive and healthy lifestyle.

I want my patient’s to know that my goals are their goals and it is important for my patient to be the key part of the decision making process when it comes to their health. Open communication is a top priority for me and it is important that I listen to each patient’s concerns and make sure they feel both heard and validated.

There is no greater miracle than childbirth and to be trusted with walking beside a patient while she experiences pregnancy and delivery is truly humbling. The most rewarding aspect of caring for someone is the relief on their face or the improvement in their life that they experience as a result of trusting me.
