Hello and welcome! I graduated from the University of Kansas in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Biology. I went on to Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing in Atlanta, Georgia in 2006 and graduated magna cum laude with a BS in Nursing. I worked as a Labor and Delivery nurse for several years. I received my medical degree from Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences in 2011 and completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2015 at the University of Missouri-Kansas City.

I have a special interest in minimally invasive robotic and vaginal hysterectomy and surgical management of endometriosis. I also surgically and medically manage pelvic floor disorders, uterine and vaginal prolapse, and urinary leakage. I am very dedicated to managing perimenopause and menopausal symptoms with the most up-to-date and evidence-based therapies. I believe it is your right to have permanent sterilization performed at any time over the age of 18 if you choose, regardless of your marital status or how many children you’ve had.

I believe in creating a partnership with my patients where we work together to decide on the best options for care. I want my patients to feel comfortable asking me their sensitive questions, with the knowledge that I will always treat them with respect and work to keep them healthy and improve their quality of life. I love being in a position to advocate for and empower women.

I am very close to my family, most of whom live nearby.  I love to travel, read, snowboard, cook, and hang out with my rescue dog, Piper. I look forward to meeting you!
