To me, medicine is a cooperative and not a dictatorship. So, it's not me coming in and telling you that you better do it this way. You better do it my way. You better listen to me. That's not the way medicine is supposed to work. It's more of a cooperative to me. So, it's me and the patient or me and the person I'm seeing work as a team. I think when people feel that they're a part of the decision, they're actively involved in their healthcare. I think that makes a huge difference.
