I was born and raised in Marshalltown. I left Marshalltown to go to the University of Northern Iowa for college and then law school in Chicago. I then worked a prosecutor in Fort Dodge, Iowa, for approximately 7 years. While working as a prosecutor, I prosecuted every type of crime from a simple misdemeanor to first degree murder. After leaving my job as a prosecutor, I began working in private practice.
My family moved back to Marshalltown in 2014 and I later joined Kaplan and Frese, LLP. While working at Kaplan and Frese, I gained valuable experience as a federal defense attorney.
Currently I practice as a solo practitioner in Marshalltown, Iowa so that I can meet the unique needs of my clients. I pride myself on being solution oriented and creative. I’ve tried every family law and criminal case imaginable. I’m ready to go to court to fight for you.
