Jennifer Gray, PhD, is a licensed psychologist in the Lewis Headache Center at Barrow Neurological Institute.

Dr. Gray’s expertise is in the psychological assessment and treatment of individuals with complex health conditions, including migraine, other headache diseases, and chronic pain. She has specialty training and experience in psychological assessment, pre-surgical evaluations, psychotherapy, and interdisciplinary consultation. Therapeutic modalities include cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness interventions, and dialectical behavior therapy. She is a member of the American Psychological Association and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.

Dr. Gray received her doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and completed her internship at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) Neuropsychiatric Institute. She completed her postdoctoral residency at Children’s Rehabilitative Services at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center through the Arizona Psychology Training Consortium.

Dr. Gray’s research interests include evaluating the relationship between motivation to change and health-related quality of life in individuals who present with comorbid mental health and chronic pain conditions.
