Dr Hunt is a veteran of the Air Force, where he served for seven years. He was stationed in Texas and Arizona and deployed to Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Southern Watch. He later transitioned to the Army, serving for twenty years.
Dr Hunt earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Georgia Campus, in Suwanee. He completed his first residency in family medicine at Martin Army Community Hospital at Fort Benning, GA, and his second residency in dermatology at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, California. He served as the Chief of Dermatology and the Chief of the Department of Medicine at Martin Army Community Hospital before retiring from the Army.
