Dr. Javier Gonzalez attended Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, for his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle with Honors. He returned to his home state of Colorado to complete an OB/GYN residency with the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Denver. During his residency, he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society for his teaching of medical students. Dr. Gonzalez moved back to the Pacific Northwest to complete a Fellowship in Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery with Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, Oregon. Dr. Gonzalez is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He is passionate about empowering his patients to make healthcare decisions that improve their quality of life and help them return to things they enjoy.When not seeing patients, Dr. Gonzalez enjoys running outdoors, golfing, taking his dog to the park, alpine and cross-country skiing, and watching sports, especially Gonzaga University basketball and Colorado Avalanche hockey.
