Dr Datta joined the faculty at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine in 2019. He graduated Summa cum Laude from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY and attended Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, TN where he earned his MD and was inducted in the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) National Honor Society. He completed his residency in General Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, during which he completed a post-doctoral research fellowship in tumor immunology in the laboratory of Brian Czerniecki.
