He has conducted research at the Aaron Diamond AIDS Research Center in New York City as well as the Yale Larynx Lab, where he was published regarding airway protection during swallowing.

Dr. Langerman worked in private practice in Connecticut before relocating to Florida. He practices comprehensive otolaryngology.
