Jacksons new adult emergency department is a $300 million, 178,000+ square-foot facility built from the ground up to deliver faster, smarter, and more specialized care. The expanded ER more than doubles capacity and features additional exam and resuscitation rooms, dedicated triage and fast-track areas to reduce wait times, onsite advanced imaging (MRI, CT, X-ray, and ultrasound), and an on-site pharmacy. Future phases include dedicated behavioral health bays, a pediatric emergency department with autism-friendly rooms, expanded helipad access, and space to grow with Miamis needs.
