Joseph Terrence Kavanagh, MD joined Eye Associates of South Texas in 2001. He received his medical degree from the University of Nottingham Medical School. Dr. Kavanagh completed his residency in Ophthalmology and fellowship in Glaucoma at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in San Antonio. Dr. Kavanagh is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at the UTHSC San Antonio and was Chief of Ophthalmology at the Kerrville VAMC for over ten years. During his career, Dr. Kavanagh has helped train many ophthalmologists now in practice throughout the United States. Dr. Kavanagh is respected for his surgical skills by his patients and peers.
