Outside of our store, you'll see a charming little courtyard with benches and pops of greenery for relaxing after your shopping trip. There are plenty of casual eateries to enjoy for breakfast and lunch nearby—you can't go wrong with a sandwich from Sweet Basil Cafe or a homemade waffle at Betsy's Crepes. Besides boutique shops and restaurants, be sure to absorb the history and culture of Southern Pines Just a brisk walk away from J.McLaughlin, you can visit The Boyd House, or Weymouth, a historic home that was built by novelist James Boyd after World War I. And while you're near Southern Pines, be sure to take a swing in Pinehurst, which is known for its world-famous golf courses and resort.
