Beware of Unreliable Contractor:

Zero Services Delivered, No Refund when Promised. I engaged with John to perform an inspection on a house I was under contact with, disclosing that I did not have a set date he could have access to the home because I would have to confirm with the seller. Based on our initial discussion of the home not sold to me yet he pushed me to pay the deposit payment because he wouldn’t discuss anything further with me without it. After messaging him confirming there’s no need to hold on to the deposit that the house will not go through, he claimed he cannot confirm he has not been to the house (even though he keeps records of all his inspections, and knows for certain he’s never been there.)

Unfortunately, my experience with him has been incredibly disappointing and unprofessional.
Despite agreeing to provide the service and receiving a deposit from me, John has not performed any services whatsoever. When confronted, he feigned ignorance about the situation, pretending not to know that services were never rendered. Initially, he assured me over the phone that they would hold onto my deposit until I was ready to proceed with the project or refund it promptly if needed.

However, his promises proved empty. Despite acknowledging the lack of services, he has since refused to honor their commitment to refund my deposit. This behavior displays a clear lack of integrity and accountability.

Throughout this ordeal, communication has been sporadic and unhelpful. John has been evasive when pressed for answers, leaving me in a frustrating and unresolved situation.

Based on my experience, I would strongly caution anyone considering hiring John] for their services. Their failure to deliver on their promises and their refusal to provide a refund WHEN NO SERVICES WERE PROVIDED, reflect poorly on their business ethics and reliability. I urge potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative options when seeking reliable and trustworthy contractors.
