I am caring for a family members house while they are away. I was out but my wife was home and they requested to come in. I asked my family member about this and they said yes, but it slipped their mind. So then came in and checked traps. A couple days ago was supposed to be the second check, but instead they texted me today.
I told them that my babies take their naps in the middle of the day and asked where the attic access was. I also said do not knock as I have 4 large dogs and they will go ballistic.
One guy showed up around 2pm and knocked loudly on the doors. My wife sprung up and tried to hush the dogs to get them outside. The guy knocked again and I went over and asked if he read my text. Having heard what happened, he smirked and said NOPE! I said I asked you not to knock. He just looked at me sideways.
He then came in to check the attic on the opposite side of the house and I asked him to not be loud. He spoke at full volume and slammed the ladder down in the room. Then wiggled it all around. I've never heard such a loud ladder in my life.
He then left and said open your garage in a nasty sorta way. I said no. He said you have to open it. I said I do not. My girls are sleeping and the door is loud and will wake them. He said well ill just call your family member then. I said OK. He then asked if I was living here or just staying here... Weird question to come from the pest guy, but he was clearly annoyed and mad at the situation.
I told him I'm not opening the door. He said well you have to because your family member paid us for a service! And he added that he was going to spray something and we couldn't be in the house anyway, so I had to get my girls out. But he tinvited us to wait outside the house.
I spoke to my family member and we came to the agreement that the pest guy will have to come back after 3 to 330 pm, which is when my girls wake up.
He had a snarky remark then hopped into his pickup and peeled out on his way.
Extreamly unprofessional. That tech will never be allowed in this house with my family here. I do not trust him, and I question why innotech allowed a character on their payrole.
My family member was not impressed either.
