During her more than 20 years as a board-certified OB-GYN, Ingenue Cobbinah, MD, has always encouraged open communication between her and her patients. She collaborates with people in her care to develop a personalized plan that accomplishes their shared goals. Dr Cobbinah works to empower patients through education and to shed a light on disparities within women’s health. According to her parents, Dr Cobbinah wanted to be a doctor since the age of 5. She was always interested in surgery and her grandmother worked as a nurse’s aide in New Orleans’ first NICU, so she was naturally drawn to becoming an OB-GYN.
