Board certified in general surgery, Dr. Patel's favorite part about surgery is how it involves careful planning and technical finesse, with immediate reward for a job well done. While he practices all aspects of vascular surgery, from aortic and carotid disease to peripheral vascular disease, hemodialysis access and venous disease, he is especially interested in treating simple and complex aortic aneurysms with conventional standards as well as fenestrated stent grafts. But, he says overall his favorite part of practicing medicine is simply being able to help someone in need. In 2018, Dr. Patel completed an Advanced Aortic Fellowship through the Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science in Rochester, Minn.
