IU Health Hospice provides compassionate, patient- and family-centered end-of-life care for individuals with a life expectancy of six months or less. The hospice team focuses on relieving symptoms and managing pain so patients can spend quality time with loved ones. Care is offered wherever patients reside (private home, hospital, hospice house, or long-term care) and is delivered by a multidisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains and volunteers.
