About Matthew Stewart

Matthew G. Stewart, MD, practices general orthopaedics with a special interest in foot and ankle reconstruction and total joint replacements (hip, knee and ankle). Originally from Columbus, GA, he graduated magna cum laude from Auburn University with an undergraduate degree in biomedical sciences. He went on to earn his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, GA. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Tennessee-Campbell Clinic in Memphis where he served as Chief Orthopaedic Resident. Before becoming a member of our staff, Dr. Stewart completed a fellowship specializing in foot and ankle surgery at Duke University.
