Holly Barber, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, is an enthusiastic and dedicated Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP). Holly brings a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence to MUSC Children’s Health Pediatrics in Chester.

Holly's educational journey includes a Master of Science in Nursing from Duquesne University, a comprehensive Botox and Juvéderm filler certification from The Injectable Academy in Duluth, Georgia, and a Family Nurse Practitioner Postgraduate Certificate from Purdue University Global. Additionally, she holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina, where she was awarded The Bena Dial Scholarship and inducted into Sigma Theta Tau.

Throughout her career, Holly has demonstrated versatility and expertise across various health care settings. She has served in roles ranging from Staff Nurse to Nurse Manager/Administrator, gaining valuable experience in specialties such as Emergency Medicine, Pediatrics, Obstetrics-Gynecology, and Legal Nurse Consulting. Her roles have involved patient care, staff education, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

In her current position as a Certified Nurse Practitioner at MUSC Children’s Health Pediatrics in Chester, South Carolina, Holly provides high-quality care to her patients while continuing to expand her skills and knowledge. She is licensed to practice in South Carolina and holds Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications from the American Heart Association.

Holly is an active member of several professional organizations, including Sigma Theta Tau, the American Nurses Association, the South Carolina Nurses Association, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. She is also affiliated with The Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement.
