Dr. Heather Shah received her Medical Degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. She completed her Residency and Internship in Internal Medicine at UAB where she was named Chief Resident, followed by a Fellowship in Hematology and Oncology also at UAB Birmingham. She is Board Certified in Hematology, Oncology, and Internal Medicine.
Dr. Shah has authored numerous articles and presentations on cancer research and clinical trials and has received many honors and awards during her education and training.
She is a native of Athens, Alabama and a summa cum laude graduate of Auburn University.
