Heather was raised in Arvada, Colorado. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for her undergraduate studies. Heather continued her education by earning both a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies and a Master of Science in Public Health at Touro University in Vallejo, California. She has spent more than a decade working in family medicine. She enjoys working in primary care because it looks at the whole patient, not just one system and allows her to see patients of all ages and all disease states. Heather is passionate about patient care and building a strong patient-practitioner relationship.“I have spent my entire career in family medicine and love that I get to follow a patient through their journey of life. I will get to know you as a person, not just a patient. I believe health care is a partnership between myself and my patients and I will always involve them in decision regarding their care.”When not working, Heather spends her free time with her husband, two children and two dogs. They love to travel.
