Vital Clinic and Spa's founder, Harman Buttar, MD completed her training in Family Medicine at The Methodist Hospital Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston, Texas. She is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM). Encountered with health struggles in her immediate family, Dr. Buttar began to look into the role of environmental and biochemical factors in determining overall health and response to medical treatments. This interest lead her on a path to train in Functional Medicine through the American Academy of Functional Medicine (AAFM) and The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM).
