Gilberto Pelayo Torres, FNP-APRN

Gilberto Pelayo Torres, APRN, is an ANCC board-certified nurse practitioner who joined Prime Cardiology to provide exceptional care to patients. His focus is on delivering compassionate, patient-centered care, with services including, managing chronic conditions, post-surgical care, and pre-operative evaluations. Gilberto completed his master’s degree in nursing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and has a background as a critical care RN, with experience working in hospitals locally in ICU and CVICU settings.
As a fluent Spanish speaker and Las Vegas local, Gilberto is dedicated to fostering open communication, and ensuring quality care for diverse patient populations across the Valley. He believes in a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to medicine and works closely with his team to achieve the best outcomes for his patients.
In his free time, Gilberto enjoys exploring the outdoors, engaging in activities like hiking and other nature-focused hobbies.
