I think, as a patient myself, I like when doctors form a connection with me and get to know me. So that's how I've practiced as a physician myself. I like getting to know my patients, creating a longitudinal relationship with them, so that when I care for them on a medical side, I can understand their preferences and their beliefs so that we can form a plan together to help get them better.
