Garst LP Gas was started by Orville Garst in 1959. The company started out selling 100# cylinders of propane gas for cooking, water heaters, and so forth. In 1968 the company purchased its first delivery truck to deliver bulk propane for Farms and home heating. The company has grown over the years and in 1975, Mr. Garst moved the business from his home to its current location at 4576 Teal Rd, Petersburg, MI. Garst has continued to grow and provide reliable propane services to Southeast Michigan.
