In 1973 the pastor of a small Baptist Church in Pineville, La., Rev. Bob Galloway, joined with a group of state pastors and laymen in representing an old established church insurance company interested in coming to Louisiana. Preferred Risk Mutual Insurance Company, a national leader in the church insurance market, ventured into Louisiana with six agents in 1973. Our agency, Galloway Insurance Agency, was born out of this initial launch, with a ministry of helping churches understand and find affordable insurance coverage.
