Foothill Regional Medical Center is a fully accredited acute care hospital, licensed for 177 beds—120 general acute care beds, 15 intensive care and 42 pediatric sub-acute. Our surgeons are supported by state-of-the-art robotics technology. Located in the heart of Orange County, Foothill Regional serves the communities of Tustin, Irvine and surrounding communities. At Foothill Regional Medical Center, you will find a team of physicians, nurses, and staff working together to provide you with advanced technology and compassionate care in a newly remodeled facility. Our facility is fully accredited by The Joint Commission, the nation’s leading accrediting body for hospitals.

In addition to primary care and emergency care, we offer a variety clinical and surgical specialties, including general surgery, orthopedic and spine surgery, surgical weight loss (bariatrics), physical rehabilitation, pediatric sub-acute care, ICU, and labor and imaging services. We offer robotic-assisted surgery for many of our surgeries.

Our emergency department patients rate us at or above the 90th percentile in patient satisfaction. We focus on treating, rather than seating our emergency patients.

Our pediatric subacute nurses and doctors care for children who are medically fragile and need 24-hour care. Conditions they experience include complications due to premature birth, congenital disease, developmental disabilities, head injuries, neurological and muscular disorders, and respiratory disease.

oothill Regional Medical Center—which has undergone a successful transformation since it reopened under new ownership in 2015—received the City of Tustin’s Large Business of the Year 2018 award on June 21 in recognition of its contribution to Tustin and surrounding area.

Foothill Regional Medical Center announced it has earned The Joint Commission’s Gold Seal of Approval® for Hospital Accreditation by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards in June. The Gold Seal of Approval® is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective patient care.

Foothill Regional ER staff offered a drive-through breakfast for EMS and police officers during National EMS Week in May.

The Foothill Regional ER has patient satisfaction scores in the 90th percentile and higher was celebrated with a banner.
