Sam Furna joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in July 2024, following a 8-year career in the United States Army, where he attained the rank of SGT. Sam understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.

Sam has a master's degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University, a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from North Carolina State University Finance Graduate Certificate. He holds Series 6, 63, 65 securities licenses plus life and health insurance licenses in NC, VA.

Sam serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. He is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves.

Active in his community, Sam is a member of Military Order of the Purple Heart.

In his free time, Sam enjoys, spending time with family, traveling and weightlifting.
