Rob Messineo joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in 2024, following a 20-year career in the United States Army as a Combat Engineer. Having experienced firsthand the unique financial challenges of military life, he is passionate about helping service members and their families pursue financial security with confidence.

A graduate of American Military University, Rob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He holds the Series 6, 63, and 65 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses in Missouri.

During his time in the Army, what he valued most was coaching and mentoring soldiers. That same passion drives his work today as a financial advisor, coaching those who serve on one of the most important missions of all: their financial future.
Understanding that behavior is one of the biggest obstacles to financial success, Rob focuses on building strong, lasting relationships with clients. He helps them define meaningful goals, implement comprehensive financial plans, and develop consistent habits that support long-term success.

Active in his community, Rob is a member of the Army Engineer Association and regularly assists and sponsors local events.

In his free time, Rob enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and children.
