J Kelly Olson joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in September 2024, following a 5-year career in the United States Marine Corps, where she attained the rank of Captain. J Kelly understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.

Kelly has a bachelor's degree in history, International Studies, and Political Science with a concentration in International Relations, as well as minors in Mass Communications, Peace & Conflict Studies, and Spanish from Wilson College, and a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine (DACM), as well as a Master of Science (MS) in Traditional Oriental Medicine, and an associate's degree in applied science in Holistic Health Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine. She holds Series 6, 65, and 63 securities licenses, plus life and health insurance licenses in California, Oregon, and Texas.

Kelly serves as a personal financial coach to clients, continually reinforcing positive financial behaviors. She is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family she serves.

In her free time, Kelly enjoys spending time with family, weightlifting, and working out.

Active in her community, Kelly is a member of the West Coast Marine Rugby Team and her sons' football and wrestling communities.
