Elliot Harris joined First Command Financial Services as a Financial Advisor in November 2022, following a 33-year career in the United States Army, where he first enlisted in the NY Army National Guard, and attained the rank of colonel upon retirement. Elliot understands the challenges and opportunities associated with life in the military and is committed to helping service members and their families get their financial lives squared away.

Elliot graduated from Adelphi University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Anthropology, and he is a graduate of the Naval Postgraduate School with a Master’s degree in National Security Affairs. Elliot also spent over twenty years serving as a Foreign Area Officer living and working all over Latin America; he speaks and reads fluent professional Spanish. Elliot holds Series 7 and 66 securities licenses plus Life and Health Insurance licenses in numerous states, to include OH, KY, IN, NY, FL, and CO.

Elliot is committed to coaching clients to pursue their financial goals and lifetime dreams by bringing sound financial knowledge and trustworthy advice to a lasting relationship with each individual and family he serves.

Active in his community, Elliot is affiliated with a variety of veterans focused organizations.

In his free time, Elliot enjoys time with family and friends, traveling, hiking, and reading.
