After twenty-three years as a Navy Surface Warfare Officer and ten years as a GS15 working for the Navy and Marine Corps, I understand the complex challenges and unique opportunities associated with military life and government service. I love helping people, and this career gives me the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of the people I work with in the pursuit of long-term financial security.

Experience has taught me that the biggest obstacle to financial security for most people is the lack of intentional planning and practiced behaviors. As a First Command Financial Advisor, I am committed to building lasting relationships with clients and providing consistent coaching that informs smart, informed financial decisions to work toward specific and meaningful goals that are aligned with their values. I believe the longest distance between two points is always a shortcut, which is why I advocate time-tested financial principles, including prudent and responsible debt management, disciplined saving and investing, and a thoughtful insurance strategy for managing financial risk. As an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR), I am held to a fiduciary standard, required in all cases to act in the clients’ best interests.
