Men and women with opioid use disorder struggle to stop using illegal drugs like heroin, synthetic opioids such as fentanyl, and prescription painkillers like oxycodone (OxyContin®), hydrocodone (Vicodin®), codeine, and morphine. MAT treatment utilizes Methadone, Buprenorphine/Suboxone, and Vivitrol to help control cravings and reduce the risks of relapse and overdose.
