Dr. Felicia Rhaney is a double board-certified Urogynecologist, Reconstructive Pelvic Surgeon, minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon, and nationally recognized women’s health expert dedicated to empowering women to thrive at every stage of life. With over two decades of experience, Dr. Rhaney is known for her compassionate, innovative approach to pelvic health, urinary incontinence, and menopausal care. A proud Augusta, Georgia native, Dr. Rhaney graduated with honors from Spelman College and with high honors from Meharry Medical College, earning induction into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society which is bestowed upon the top 6% of physicians nationwide. She completed her residency at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon, GA and her fellowship at Northside Hospital in Atlanta, GA. She is an award-winning and published researcher and has received numerous accolades, including Castle Connolly Top Doctor Award (awarded to the top 7% of physicians nationwide based on peer nominations for excellence in patient care and clinical expertise), the U.S. News & World Report Patient’s Top Choice Award, and a Center of Excellence designation for her outstanding clinical outcomes. Dr. Rhaney’s personal journey as a breast cancer survivor brought her face-to-face with the challenges of early menopause. Unable to use traditional hormone therapies, she experienced firsthand the profound impact of menopausal symptoms on quality of life. This experience fueled her passion to become a menopausal specialist, dedicated to providing safe, evidence-based, and individualized care for women navigating menopause — especially those who, like herself, cannot use estrogen. She is the sole Certified Menopausal Specialist for the Metro Columbus region. Her clinical expertise includes: Urinary incontinence and pelvic floor disorders, Urinary Retention, Interstitial Cystitis, Recurrent UTIs, Pelvic pain related to endometriosis, adenomyosis and other causes, Abnormal uterine bleeding, Symptomatic uterine fibroids, Dysmenorrhea, Menopausal symptom management (hot flashes, night sweats, vaginal dryness, painful intercourse, sleep disturbances, mood changes), Non-hormonal and holistic approaches to menopausal care, Pelvic organ prolapse, Sexual wellness and quality of life in midlife and beyond. Having been a clinical professor and mentor, Dr. Rhaney is committed to advancing the field of women’s health, training the next generation of compassionate, skilled providers. She is also the founder of StrongHer Care, LLC where she is developing innovative, non-hormonal products and resources to help women reclaim their confidence and vitality.
