FORT

FORT is a toy shop that specializes in open-ended play experiences with imaginative and developmental children's toys. We focus on curating beautiful, sensory rich, loose play parts that inspire imagination. We provide children and families with pieces that support developmental play, imaginative play, exploratory play, creative play and sensory play, pulling from different disciplines including Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, and Montessori.
FORT is founded and directed by a pediatric OT, and the mission is to facilitate healthy, developmental, and joyful play for kids through retail. Visit our sensory box build experience at our shop locations in Richmond and Fredericksburg, VA.
FORT also offers birthday parties and private box build events.
