Essential by Christophe is a Michelin-starred French restaurant on Manhattan's Upper West Side, near Lincoln Center, the Beacon Theatre, and Central Park. Chef Christophe Bellanca serves contemporary French menus built on seasonal ingredients and classic technique. Guests may choose the four course Discovery Menu or the seven course Chef's Tasting Menu, each with optional wine and non alcoholic pairings. A three course pre theatre menu is available on select evenings, and a la carte dining is offered at the bar. The restaurant was awarded one MICHELIN Star in 2023. The private dining room seats up to 21 guests, and the full restaurant can be reserved for up to 70. Dinner only, reservations recommended.

Blue prawns served with pike roe, genmaicha tuile and a dill and chive bouillon. A course on the Discovery and Pre Theatre menus at Essential by Christophe.

Iberico pork, presa de bellota, with king oyster mushroom and omija berries jus. A main course option on Chef Christophe Bellanca's Discovery Menu.

Roasted poularde with morels and albufera sauce. Served on the three course Pre Theatre Menu, available Tuesday through Thursday with a 5:30pm seating.
