Dr. Hartman was inducted into Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honor society while at Meharry Medical College and received several honors including the Academy of Operative Dentistry student award and the American Association of Orthodontists student award. She was awarded the Faculty Award in Orthodontics while at Howard University for having the highest academic average in her post-graduate orthodontic class. This year Dr. Hartman was recognized as one of America's Top Dentist by the Consumer Research Council of America. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists.
