Dr. Sonia Erickson, a Bay Area native, graduated from U.C. Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Physiology. She then graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine in San Francisco (now the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University). She completed a two-year surgical residency at Bellwood General Hospital in Bellflower, CA and then completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine at the Irvine Multi-Specialty Surgical Care Center in Irvine, CA.
